It has already been four months since Jurek left us. The wound is still
fresh. We don't stop thinking about him. Although our friendship started
here, after the Zachariasz family came to the United States, it seems as if
it had lasted forever. We immediately developed a very close and cordial
friendship. In life you make many friends, but those such as Jurek, you
meet very seldom.
He was a man who possessed a great intellect, an analytical mind, and most importantly, a good heart. It was always a pleasure to be in his company. We admired his ability to solve difficult problems. He distinguished himself from others by his calm demeanor, his ability to listen carefully to others' opinions, and, at the end, coming up with a wise and logical conclusion to any problem, always accompanied by an interesting story or an appropriate joke.
We will always remember his honesty, wisdom, his unique sense of humor and, most of all, the affectionate smile on his face, especially when the names of his beloved Grazyna or Nina were mentioned. He was an exceptional human being and an outstanding friend. We will always remember him with fondness and longing.
